Child Psychotherapy

For children aged 4 - 12 years, therapy aims to increase your child’s capacity to better manage emotions, relationships and behaviors. We also support parents to best meet the emotional needs of their children.

This can involve exploring your child's worries and difficulties in relationships at home and school via play - the way in which children speak to us about their concerns. Other approaches at Lifespan Psychology include Mentalization Based Therapy and Attachment Based Therapy.

Parallel work with parents is a fundamental component therapy with children. For more information, contact one of our clinicians.
